What vehicle parts endure.
Transportation components live outdoors, under vibration, and across a temperature range that punishes the wrong resin. Impact strength at low temperature and UV stability usually drive the material decision before anything else.
Panel-sized parts are the other constant. Thermoforming produces large, thin-walled panels without injection tooling cost, while rotational molding handles tanks and ducting as seamless hollow parts.
